Marco Bezzecchi will be determined to make it back-to-back victories in the 2025 MotoGP calendar by clinching the
Valencian MotoGP.
Most recent race
The Aprilia Racing rider claimed a podium spot at the Portuguese MotoGP on 9 November, the most recent event on the 2025 MotoGP calendar.
Bezzecchi won the race, while also finishing third in the sprint event and he left the Algarve International Circuit with a huge 32 points.
MotoGP ambitions
The Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer is placed third in the 2025 MotoGP Riders' standings, having collected 323 points from 21 races, with the Marquez brothers having clinched the top two spots.
Bezzecchi is 35 points above fourth-placed Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati and 37 points will be at stake at the Valencian MotoGP as the duo battle to finish third in the MotoGP Riders' standings.
Why Bezzecchi could win the 2025 Valencian MotoGP
The former Moto2 and Moto3 rider is oozing with confidence after recording his second victory of the season in Portugal, having also won the British MotoGP.
Bezzecchi, who finished third in the 2023 MotoGP Riders' standings, will be determined to better Bagnaia's results at the Valencian MotoGP in order to finish the season in third place.
What did he say?
"Clearly having this situation is a good thing, I would be talking nonsense if I didn't say I was a little bit more relaxed," Bezzecchi said about the third place spot ahead of the 2025 Valencian MotoGP.
"The truth is that especially in this period it has become a goal, but finishing third in the world championship has never been something that has been an obsession for me in a negative way. At most it did in a positive way.
'Being able to achieve that meant having good races and winning them, and that's what I wanted. The same goes for Valencia, I'm going there with the mentality that I need to have a good weekend."
